ANSBACH, Germany — Ansbach Elementary School welcomed the holiday season in December with its first-ever Holiday Workshop, an event that brought students together for a day of creativity, community and seasonal fun.

Students rotated through a variety of hands-on craft stations, creating items such as reindeer food, ornaments, snow globes, bracelets and Christmas cards. Holiday music and seasonal stories set a festive tone as students worked on their projects, blending creativity with joyful learning experiences.

In the days leading up to the workshop, teachers incorporated holiday-themed books into English language arts lessons, helping students connect literacy with seasonal traditions. On the day of the event, volunteers transformed the space and supported each activity station, ensuring students could fully enjoy the experience.

The workshop highlighted the strong partnership between families and the school community and provided students with a memorable way to celebrate the season together.

School leaders expressed appreciation to the Ansbach Elementary Parent Teacher Student Association for sponsoring and supporting the event, noting that the PTSA’s efforts made the workshop possible and helped create a warm, engaging experience for students.
