Ansbach Elementary Hosts Annual Veterans Day Musical Salute
Ansbach Elementary School proudly honored America’s heroes during its annual Veterans Day Musical Salute, held on November 6, 2025. The event brought together parents, students, staff, and faculty in a heartfelt tribute to the men and women who have served in the United States Armed Forces.
The program featured the Ansbach Elementary Choir under the direction of Music teacher Dr. Whitney Mansell, whose leadership brought patriotic songs to life. Each melody expressed gratitude, respect, and admiration for veterans, serving as a reminder of the sacrifices made to protect freedom and uphold the nation’s values.
Following the musical celebration, the day continued with a special opportunity for students to connect with history firsthand. A multitude of veterans visited classrooms across the school, sharing personal stories and experiences from their time in service. These conversations offered students a deeper understanding of military life and the importance of honoring those who have served.
CW5 Wilson, a UH-60 pilot with the 12th Combat Aviation Brigade, reflected on the experience:
“It was an honor and memorable moment to be able to speak to my son’s and daughter’s classroom. It helped the students understand what their parents do and what sacrifices they may have made while serving in the military.”
