Ansbach Elementary Staff Social Committee Hosts Holiday Coffee and Treat Day
ANSBACH, Germany — Ansbach Elementary School staff members were treated to a festive coffee and treat day Dec. 14, 2025, thanks to the school’s Social Committee and event sponsors Mike F. Welsh and Stephanie LeMasters.
Each month, the Ansbach Elementary Social Committee organizes a breakfast, snack or luncheon to support staff wellness and encourage connection among faculty and support personnel. The December event continued that tradition with freshly brewed coffee and a variety of healthy snacks, providing a welcome pause during the busy holiday season.
The event featured a coffee station led by Welsh, the school psychologist, who used his experience as a barista to prepare custom specialty drinks for colleagues. Staff members enjoyed lattes, cappuccinos and other coffee favorites as they gathered in the faculty lounge.
LeMasters, the school nurse, complemented the coffee offerings with an assortment of fruits, vegetables and nutritious snacks, reinforcing the committee’s focus on health and balance. Together, the pair created a relaxed and welcoming space for staff to recharge and connect.
Welsh and LeMasters have sponsored the holiday coffee and treat day for several years, making it a recurring highlight on the Social Committee’s calendar.
“We wish it was every day,” they said.
The monthly Social Committee events reflect Ansbach Elementary School’s commitment to recognizing the efforts of its educators and staff, reminding the school community that small gestures of appreciation can have a meaningful impact on morale and well-being.
